Bennett, then Legislative Counsel to <br />the Dcpn.rtmcnt of the Interior, to compile 11 digest of the leadln~ CllSCS. <br />I repellted the request in the hearings this year on the Hells IJIlnyotl <br />bill (8, 555). <br />;\lr, Bennett, who is the Solicitor of the Department of the Interior, <br />has sent nlC such a cornpilation. In nlY opinion it is excellent, and <br />in the hope. that it mllY he as helpful to other members of the com- <br />mittee as I know it wil! be to me, I am hllving (,his committee print <br />mllde of it.
