As a resul t of his leadership, several <br />significant inter-agency publications were produced. He <br />also has been II me~er Df several Task Forces and is <br />charged with respDnsibility Df developing and maintaining <br />a library of reprints pertaining to the phreatDphyte <br />'field. Also, he maintains a central depDsitDry of <br />reports, surveys, and pilOtographs furnishetl by member <br />agencies. lie was selected as a nlen-ber Df a team to <br />study phreatDphytes in MoroccD, but because Df funds <br />this prDject was nDt completed. <br /> <br />C. Research Accomplishn-ents <br /> <br />Earlier Accomplishment: from 1951, to 1956 he was leader Df <br />a national program of soil Inoisturc ond trafficability studies <br />in cooperation with the Corps or r.nr,ine~rs" u.s.
