O'Donnell, Director <br />Office of policy <br />136 State Capitol <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. O'Donnell: <br /> <br />The Kremmling Field Office of .the Bureau of Land Management is currently <br />~onsidering two amendments to the Kremmling Resource Management Plan. In <br />accordance with 43 CFR 1610.3-2, we are required t.o submit the proposed amendments <br />to your office and identify any inconsistencies with State or local plans, policies <br />or programs. We have identified no inconsistencies with these two proposed <br />amendments. . <br /> <br />During the processing of these two amendments, we provided.a copy of the Notices of <br />Intent to Initiate the amendments to your office. We also notified several State <br />agencies, including the Colorado.Department of Public Health and .Environment, <br />Colorado Commission of Indian Affairs, Colorado Division of Wildlife, Colorado <br />Department of Highways, and the Colorado Department of Mining/Geology. One comment <br />from the Board of Land Commissioners was received as a result of these <br />notifications. The Board indicated they had no problems or concerns with the <br />proposed amendments, and indicated continued .interest in exchanging a parcel of <br />State land. These agencies will also be notified of the current availability of <br />the proposed plan. amendments. <br /> <br />It is only necessary that you respond to this letter if you determine the proposed <br />plan amendments are inconsistent with State or local plans, policies or programs. <br />We would appreciate you notifying us immediately if you identify any <br />inconsistencies.. If we do not receive any comments from your office within 60 <br />days, the plan amendments will be finalized and implemented. <br /> <br />To facilitate your review,. we have attached copies of the environmental <br />assessments/proposed plan amendments.
