S. C. A. 15SS. <br /> <br />SEC. 606. As used in this Act, (a) all terms which arc defined i,n <br />the .Colorado River Compact shall have the meiJnings therein defined; <br /> <br />(b) "Main stream" means the main stream of the Colorado River <br />downstream from Lee FHry within the United States, including the reser- <br />voirs thereon; <br /> <br />(c) "User" or "water user" b relation to main streilm welter in <br />the lower bilsin means the United States or any person or legal entity <br />entitled under the decree 'of the SUlJic;ne Court of the Unitcd States in <br />Arizona agilinst Cal jjarma, and others (376 U. S. 340), to use main <br />stream water when available thereunder; <br /> <br />(d) "Active storage" meaIlS that amount of water in reservoir <br />storage, exclusive of bank storage, which can be released through the <br />existing reservoir outlet works; <br /> <br />(e) <br />California, <br /> <br />"Colorado J(i'/er Basin States" means the States of Arizona, <br />Colorado, Nevada. New Mexico, Utah, and Vv'yoming; <br /> <br />(0 "Western United States" means those States lying wholly <br />or in part west of the Continental Divide; und <br /> <br />(g) "Augment" or "augmentation", when used herein with refer- <br />ence to water, meilns to increase the supply of the Colorildo River or <br />its tributilries by the introduction of wilter into the Colorado River system, <br />which is in ilclJition to the nilturilJ supply of the system. <br /> <br />l\lJ<D),IrIE5> <br /> <br />Section 606 is codified as 43 U. S. C. A. 1556. <br />
