A proposed feasibility report is sched- <br /> <br />uled to be completed this fiscal year. <br /> <br />On the San Miguel project, modifications in the project plan are mov- <br /> <br />ing ahead with the objective of iJlIproving project feasibility. Plan formul- <br /> <br />lation studies are appraising the possibility of developing water for a <br /> <br />steam. electric powerplant in the San Miguel River area. The powerplant is <br /> <br />being planned by the Colorado-ute Electric Association. Preparation of <br /> <br />design data for an enlarged Radium Reservoir, Paradox Diversion Dam, and <br /> <br />extension of Paradox canal are in progress. The proposed feaSibility re- <br /> <br />port is scheduled for completion at the end of this fiscal year. <br /> <br />Land classification, agricultural economy, and water requli'ement <br /> <br />studies are underway on a representative presently undeveloped area on <br /> <br />the ~r Gunnison project to determine the scope of the feaSibility <br /> <br />studies to be tmdertaken. <br /> <br />Plan formulation studies, water supply studies, <br /> <br />and agricultural economic studies are in progress on the Battlement Mesa <br /> <br />5 <br />
