water is pumped into the Water System and is used or stored in the
various storage tanks throughout the system. The effluent is discharged
to the Evergreen Sanitation District for processing and the water
is returned into Bear Creek.

The water distribution system contains two pumping plants. eighteen
storage tanks and approximately 61 miles of mains. Main sizes range
from 4" to 12". The tanks range in size from 6,000 to 143.000 gallon
capacity and are normally underground. The aggregate processed water
storage capacity is 998,000 gallons.

"
I
II

I

Current and Projected Water Use in the System

The Evergreen Water System supplies the communities of Evergreen,

Kittredge, Wahkeeney Park, and the Hiwan Country.
