Attachment Two

Electroshock, Coal Creek
11 June 1980

Fish were collected from Coal Creek at two sites upstream and two
sites downstream from the sewage treatment plant in Louisville,
Colorado. Site one was about 1/2 mile upstream from the intersection
of Highway 42 and Coal Creek. Site two was just upstream from that
intersection. Site three was just downstream fram the intersection of
Highway 287 and Coal Creek and site four was north of Erie, just
upstream from the intersection of Kenosha Road and Coal Creek (see
map).
Fish were collected from 100 meter sections at each site uSlng
backpack electro-shocker and two nets for capture. All fish were
collected in a single pass of each section and species and number of
fish collected were recorded.
