Coal mining projections are based primarily on <br /> <br />recently completed environmental impact statements or on other related sources <br /> <br />(such as Hornbaker and Holt, 1973; Speltz, 1976; Jones, 1978; and Gertsch and <br />....... <br />~ others, 1978). Note that powerplant development for the eight impacted sub- <br />..... <br />~ areas is about doubled between 1975-76 and 2000 (table 2).
