<br />00603 <br /> <br />PROJECT TITLE AND 10: LCR Management Plan <br /> <br /> <br />_eneral Proiect Description: This project covers costs of meeting the element of the biological opinion <br />that requires Reclamation to be instrumental in the development of a management plan to protect <br />humpback chub and its critical habitat in the lower Little Colorado River. Some elements of this plan are <br />contained in the humpback chub comprehensive plan. <br /> <br />Proiect Goals and Obiectives: The primary goal is to contribute to development of a watershed-based <br />management plan that will identify and address threats emanating from the watershed to humpback chub <br />in the lower Little Colorado River. <br /> <br />Expected Resu Its: Funding will be used to develop a watershed-based management plan that addresses <br />threats to humpback chub and its critical habitat in cooperation with agencies, tribes, and organizations <br />that have authority and responsibility for resources in the Little Colorado River basin. Coordination of <br />plan development will be accomplished through the Little Colorado River Watershed Coordinating <br />Council. The plan will address threats identified in the humpback comprehensive plan.
