However, some lands that were irrigated with this water have beell dried up or <br />has a severely curtailed irrigation water supply and the water is being used in other lands. <br /> <br />ECONOMIC IMPACfS - cost to canal company to protect water rights <br /> <br />SOCIAL IMPACfS - Bitter division among stockholders that were sellers or non-sellers and <br />against the Colorado Division of Wildlife for the resulting expense caused the Catlin Canal Company <br />stockholders, <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACfS - None apparent. <br /> <br />COMMENTS - Water has been leased to other Catlin shareholders for $1820 net per year <br />on a 5 year lease. Division of Wildlife pays the assessments, which were $12 share in 1992 and <br />$14 share in 1991.
