<br />('ij <br />'-'J <br />..., <br /> <br />Water'Supply for Rifle Gap Reservoir <br /> <br />Inflow to Rifle Gap Reservoir would comprise: <br /> <br />(a) Run-off of <br />Falls to Rifle Gap. <br />Rifle Creeks. <br /> <br />Rifle Creek basin between Rifle <br />This is mostly Middle and West <br /> <br />(b) Flows of East Rifle Creek to Rifle Falls in <br />excess of the capacity of Grass Valley Ditch and the needs <br />of the irrigated lands on East Rifle Creek between Rifle <br />Falls and Rifle Gap Reservoir. <br /> <br />(c) Flows of East Rifle Creek not needed to fill Harvey <br />Gap Reservoir as at present constructed nor beneficially <br />usable on the Silt Project, or flow passed by the Grass Valley <br />Ditch to prior-i'ight Rifle Valley ditches vlhen an amount <br />equal to their past diversions cannot be supplied from Rifle <br />Gap Reservoir with an active capacity of 6000 acre-feet. <br /> <br />(d) That portion of the seepage losses from the Grass <br />Valley Ditch which would return to East Rifle Creek estimated <br />at 5 percent of the diversions from Rifle Creek by the Silt <br />Project. <br /> <br />(e) Return water from the irrigation of lands between <br />Rifle Falls and Rifle Gap. <br /> <br />47 <br />
