<br />Enclosed are copies of reports we submitted for Professional
<br />Paper 600-A, Geological Survey Research 1968, Chapter A, These
<br />statements summarize the significant scientific results of the
<br />cooperative studies we have with the Colorado Water Conservation
<br />Board.

<br />Chapter A is one of four volumes of a Professional Paper
<br />published each year by the Geological Survey, This publication
<br />is a summary of the more significant research findings in the
<br />scientific fields during the preceding fiscal year. It also
<br />contains lists of investigations in progress) of reports
<br />published during the fiscal year, of cooperating agencies, and
<br />of Survey offices. New observa.tions, conclusions, and surrunaries
<br />of investigations still in progress are reported in Chapters B,
<br />C, and D.
<br />
