<br />A National Symposium on the Analysis of Water-Resource Systems will be held in Denver,
<br />Colorado, at the University of Denver on July 1-3, 1968, sponsored by the American
<br />Water Resources Association and hosted by the College of Engineering of the University
<br />of Denver.
<br />
<br />The Symposium will be divided into the following sessions:
<br />
<br />(1) Operations Research and Simulation Techniques (Monday, July 1, 1968,
<br />10:00 a.m.)
<br />
<br />(2) Groundwater Systems Analysis (~onday, July 1, 1968, 1:30 p.m.)
<br />
<br />(3) Systems Analysis for Water Supply and Pollution Control (Tuesday,
<br />July 2, 1968, 8:30 a.m.)
<br />
<br />(4) Surface Water Svstems Analysis (Tuesday, July 2, 1968, 1:30 p.m.)
<br />
<br />(5) Estuary Water Quantity and Quality Systems (Wednesday, July 3, 1968, 8:30 a.m.)
<br />
<br />Each session (approximately 3 1/2 hours) includes a review of the topic under
<br />discussion given by a General Reporter, followed by prepared statements (about IS
<br />minutes each) from the Members of a Panel. The remaining part of a session will be
<br />devoted to discussion among the General Reporter, the Panel and the audience. The
<br />discussion will be moderated by a Session Chairman.

<br />The General Reporters and the Panel Members of the Symposium have been invited. We
<br />have secured the participation of most of the leading System Analysis Scientists in
<br />the United States. For instance, D. Wilde, C. S. Beightler, L. T. Fang, O. Burt,
<br />J. Dracup. E. Weber, J. Bredehoeft, R. W. Stallman, J. J. Harrington, R. Smith,
<br />J. Liebman, R. Bauman, J. Dillingham, N. Matalas, L. Beard, D. Moreau, K. Young,
<br />H. Jacoby, G. T. Orlob, R. Thoman, R. Selleck, W. E. Dobbins and others.
<br />
<br />In addition to the Technical Program a very attractive Program is being planned for
<br />the ladies and the children. For instance, buses will take the ladies to Colorado
<br />Springs and to the Rocky Mountain National Park. A program for children is also
<br />being developed.
<br />
<br />Exhibits by Government Agencies will be held in the Centennial Conference Center.
