* In 9.bsence of all cat",- cn strenF flow 1922 is estimated as
eeual to 1923, a year of c~parable precifitation and run-
off contitions in the region. Similarly 1928 is estim",-tec

as equal to 1929.
# In years of mocerately {eficient flow recuction of eiver-
sions will permit filling the reservoir.
(a) Frcm stream flow recorcs.

The values in C01UF~ (1) seem to be higb in years of heavy

runoff, which is however, inherent in the method by which this rela-

tien was established. In such yoars more of the runoff c~es from

lower altituces than is usual, and would appear below the reservoir

and its feerersand woulc net be storable but this is not naterial

since the reservoir would fill.
