Water Year 1993

The Green River below Flaming Gorge Dam has been
determined to be habitat of Colorado Squawfish. Restrictions
on releases from Flaming Gorge Reservoir have been
implemented to improve habitat conditions for young
Colorado Squawfish. During water year 1993, release
restrictions, as recommended hy the U.S. Fish and Wildlife
Service, will be maintained.

In water year 1993, Flaming Gorge will be operated according
to the FDBO. This operation will include high spring releases
to coincide with the peak flow of the Yampa River and low
stable flows between 1,100 and 1,800 cubic feet per second
near the Jensen, Utah, gaging station during the summer and
rail months.

Flaming Gorge is not expected to fill in 1993 except under the
prohable maximum inflow scenario. Under the most prohable
inflow scenario, Flaming Gorge is expected to gain storage hut
will still be approximately 6 feet short of filling.

ACTUAL STORAGE 1992

~" ~() !3
s .. ..

PROJECTED RELEASES 1993

THOUIAND .\C"loRlT
300 P 08

...

...

".

,..

..

.
_o~ 0" ..0 ..+ f<-'" ..~ _4~ ~ ,:,+ ,:," ,," {J
<T'fO'~~~.SS.."

PROJECTED UNREGULATED INFLOW 1993

THOUSAND ACRI_FEET
1000
fe-p 08 IN *"M ST ROB +P~OB MAX

...

...

1/\
0V \~
f--..~
,,~

...

...

/'

"--

.
oc.~ +0" 0"'<> ,..+ (<-'" +.;t ~~ +~ ~+ -t>" .;>" ",-3

PROJECTED STORAGE 1993

THOUSAND ACAI!-RIrr
4000

19-.
