<br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On February 2nd 1954 at the meeting of the Water <br />Project Authority held in Sacramento. Henry Holsinger, <br />Principal Attorney for the State Division of Water Re- <br />sources presented a statement to the Authority which out- <br />lined some of the issues involved in the Ivanhoe Irrigation <br />District contract case. The case is pending on appeal before <br />the State Supreme Court. <br /> <br />Since there is widespread interest in the case and since <br />Mr. Holsinger presented a particularly lucid and scholarly <br />discussion of the issues involved in the contract problem. <br />his statement is included in this pamphlet in fun and without <br />comment. <br /> <br />Also included in this pamphlet is a memorandum which <br />Mr. Holsinger referred to in his statement along with an <br />"Outline of Reasons the Trial Court Held the Ivanhoe Con- <br />tract Invalid" which was included in the Water Project <br />Authority Agenda for the meeting on December 29, 1953. <br /> <br />Irrigation Districts Association <br />of California <br /> <br />Wafer Economics Committee <br /> <br />932 PACIFIC BLDG" SAN FRANCISCO 3, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />....50 <br /> <br />.0,,: <br />
