In addition, the project could furnish water for <br /> <br />b municipal and industrial development to areas. now expanding in ~ <br /> <br />exploration and production, as seen by this pumping plant on Deadman <br /> <br />48 <br /> <br />Bench, and for development of other mineral and industrial enterprises. <br /> <br />Data on the irrigable lands are meager. Recent field checks <br /> <br />i\ <br />\J <br /> <br />indicate that salinity and drainage problems exist on some areas <br /> <br />49 <br />so <br /> <br />to the extent that the total irrigable acreage as now estimated may <br /> <br />shrink suhstantially whenever more detailed data become RVkflahle. <br /> <br />24 <br />
