About 26 years ago I had visited

this area to look over a road job from Craig to Baggs for a contractor

I was working with at that time. The splendid growth and improve-

ments made since the~ are evidence that substantial progress has

been made during the intervening years. It is likely that this

progress represents only the beginning of the development of the

enormous mineral potentials, as well as expansion of agriculture,

power, recreation, fish and wildlife, and other related activities.

. The reconnaissance plan of development for the Juniper Project

described herein will be illustrated by slides. The slides on the

screen to your left will show rough-sketched maps of the entire project

area and the red arrow shows where pictures were taken. The screen

on your right will show pictures of features or acti"j t ie," related

to the proiect. The maps were used in car and plane '.J;''']" v;, i ling
