Obtain permission from landowner to gain access to the site. <br /> <br />2. Preliminary study to identify alternatives. A site specific study will be conducted to <br />identify and develop alternative fish passage options at the Hartland Diversion Dam. <br />A study team composed of water user representatives, Reclamation and Fish and <br />Wildlife Service staff, and consultant(s) will be formed to conduct the study. <br />Hydrologic, hydraulic, geologic, topographic and structural data will be collected at <br />the site. This information will be used to develop the alternative fish passage <br />options. The study will conclude with a report documenting the data collected; the <br />process used to identify and develop the alternatives; and make recommendations <br />regarding the alterative to be implemented based on technical considerations. <br /> <br />Hartland 1 <br />
