The <br />term "unsuitable" is not used to imply preclusion of new facilities., but rather to identify corridors wbicb, under all alternatives, pass <br />tbrough an area containing tbose important resource values identified in the criteria spelled out in Cbapter I. These "unsuitable" <br />corridors would usually be sensitive to the placement of new facilities and would be subject to the special stipulations referred to <br />under eacb of the alternatives; tbey would generally be addressed on a case-by-<:ase basis, They may also be considered unsuitable <br />if they cross little or no public surface ownership. <br /> <br />...
