Under <br />it the United States constructed works costing about $12 million, and <br />reduced the salinity of the water made available for Mexico from 1375 ppm <br />to about 1242 ppm. The United States will continue to utilize these <br />works in the execution of the new agreement. No new construction will be <br />required. <br /> <br /> <br />1"'<'--- <br />
