The present population of the city was <br />estimated to be 7,500 persons in 1975. However, in addition to the <br /> <br />city population, the present water system supplies water to users out- <br /> <br />side of the city as follows: <br />Znti~ <br />Tri-County <br /> <br />Chipeta <br /> <br />% of water supply <br /> 9~ <br /> 8 <br /> 12 <br /> 10 <br /> <br />Nenoken <br /> <br />Tied to the Montrose system <br />for emergency situations only <br /> <br />All of the above entities are members of the project seven group. <br /> <br />Olathe <br />Delta <br /> <br />The seventh member is the Uncompahgre Water Users Association. <br />From the demand curve supplied by the consultants, it is concluded <br />that average demand may remain constant at about 100,000 gallons per <br />capita per year or 275 gallons per capita per day, if the ratio of <br />unmetered inside-city to metered outside-city customers remains the <br /> <br />same. <br /> <br />0315 <br />
