Status of Data Submission: <br /> <br />The twelve Colorado squawfish collected in the 2.3-mile reach of the <br />Lower Gunnison River. at Walter Walker Wildlife Area in the 18-mile <br />reach. and from Gardner and Pickup ponds in the IS-mile reach of the <br />Colorado River were implanted with radiotags in FY97. All twelve of <br />these squawfish in addition to the eighteen Colorado squawfish <br />captured in the fish trap of the fish passageway at Redlands <br />Diversion Dam were checked for a PIT-tag. Fish previously not <br />captured were PIT-tagged and the following data collected from all <br />fish prior to their being released: total length (mm) , weight (g). <br />reproductive condition. and date and location of capture. These data <br />have been computerized and have been provided to the ISMP database <br />manager. The total number of fishes that were collected in the fish <br />trap at Redlands fish passageway has also been computerized. <br /> <br />XI. Signed: Frank K.
