They will be <br />analyzed and results sent <br />to you later. <br /> <br />Contact - Doris Kaplan <br />Phone - 623-2500 <br /> <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br />WATER BOARD REPORTS SURVEY RESULTS <br /> <br />July 31, 1978 <br /> <br />A majority of customers are satisfied with the Denver <br /> <br /> <br />Water Department's performance in the areas of planning <br /> <br /> <br />and service according to a recent survey sponsored by the <br /> <br />Water Board. <br /> <br />~fuen asked to rate the Water Board's performance on <br /> <br /> <br />planning the area's water supply and providing new water <br /> <br /> <br />resources, 12 percent of the respondents gave the board <br /> <br /> <br />an excellent rating, 42 percent good, 29 percent fair and <br /> <br /> <br />11 per cent poor. In other questions on water service, <br /> <br />the Denver Water Department received a 16 percent excellent <br /> <br />rating, with 47 percent saying service was good, 26 percent <br />only fair and 8 percent poor. <br /> <br />James L Ogilvie, manager of the municipally o"wned <br /> <br /> <br />water system, said the comprehensive survey probed water users' <br /> <br /> <br />opinions on the present and future problems of Denver, their <br /> <br />view on water policies for Denver, water shortages, water <br /> <br />conservation, expansion of water facilities, water bills <br /> <br />and the performance of the Department. <br /> <br />(more) <br /> <br />mppr---\1nL::'1":"'::"", <br />r .\1'( ".., ",\ <br />, .
