Tomichi Creek Unit

This unit would develop an irrigation supply of 15,100 acre-feet of
water. About 80% of the supply would be used to provide supplemental
service to p~esently irrigated lands.

Depletion to the Colorado River would be 4,600 acre-feet. Salinity at
Lake Mead is estimated to increase 0.4 milligram per liter as a result
of the development.

Agricultural Economy

The principal crops in the areas of all units are meadow hay and pasture.
The agricultural economy is based on a livestock operation. Since most
of the developed water would be used for supplemental supply, no develop-
ment period was contemplated.

The project area is within the Four Corners Administrative Assistance
area.
