Details on cost~. benefits, and acreages
are now under study in our Grand Junction office.

Plan 7

This is a variation of Plan 3 which includes p~ing below the conflu-
ence of the North and South Forks of White River. However, the pump
lift is reduced from 360 feet to approximately 250 feet to better meet
repayment requirements of irrigators. The irrigation would be reduced
by about 500 acres. All other project features remain the same.

Plan 8

This is a variation of Plan 5, except that storage at Ripple Reservoir
is substituted for Powell Park Reservoir. Pumping to the Piceance Creek
Basin is at the same point on the White River as in Plan 5. Storage is provided at Ripple and
Lost Park Reservoirs, but instead of pumping the Y~I water to the Piceance
Creek area at a point below Meekcr with a lift or about 800 feet, the
M&I water for the basin would be pumped from the "'bite River above Meeker
near the existing Oak Ridge Canal with a lift or approximately 400 feet.
A buried pipeline would convey the water from this point to the Piceance
Creek area. All other features remain the same.

.
