' <br /> <br />-----;-- <br /> <br />(d) The quantity of usable water in Project Storage was less than <br />400,000 acre feet throughout the calendar year 1951 except for a short <br />period in February and March. Contrary to the provisions of Article VII <br />of the Compact, the amount of water in storage in reservoirs upstream <br />was increased during April and May, 1951. <br /> <br />The expenses for administration of the Compact during the fiscal year <br />ending June 30, 1951 were $18,255, of which $7,800 was borne by the United <br />States and the balance of $10,455 was borne equally by the three states. <br /> <br />All data and records pertaining to administration of Rio Grande Compact <br />are kept in the files of the Commission in the office of the District Engineer, <br />U. S.
