Surplus flows of Savery Creek
will be stored in the reservoir and released into the stream channel
for conveyance to irrigation diversion points at lower elevations.
About 7 miles below the reservoir, the Dolan Mesa Diversion Dam will
divert water into the Dolan Mesa Canal for delivery to full service
lands on Dolan Mesa. Project waters flowing past the diversion dam
will supplement the present irrigation supply along Savery Creek and
the Little Snake River below its confluence with Savery Creek in both
Wyoming and Colorado. Return flows will be utilized on the lower
lying lands. Present diversion and ditch systems will be utilized
to distribute this supplemental water. In accord with Wyoming fishery
recommendations, minimum flows in Savery Creek below the reservoir.
and the diversion dam will be 15 second-feet and 10 second-feet, .
respectively. About 1,500 acre-feet of inactive storage in the reser-
voir will be provided specifically for fish, wildlife, and recreation.

The Pot Hook Reservoir will be constructed on Slater Creek about 1
mile south of Slater, Colorado. Surplus flows of Slater Creek will
be stored in the reservoir and released into the Pot Hook Canal.
The westward flowing canal will provide irrigation service to pre-
dominantly full service lands south of the Little Snake River in both
Wyoming and Colorado. Two major laterals will branch from the main
canal. The willow Creek Lateral will service lands along Willow

,
,
j
,
.
'I
