Limiting factors associated with recruitment and larval success of all three target
species will be studied, since this is the life stage where recruitment failed in other portions of the Colorado
River Basin. Nonnative fish control efforts will continue and may be expanded if effective control measures
are developed. Monitoring will be an important component of future activities, and a Monitoring Plan was
developed and initiated. Adaptive management will continue to be used to adjust SOOP efforts as new
information becomes available. In particular, the flow recommendations will be continually reviewed and
adjusted, if needed.

September 2000

S-4

Program Evaluation Report
