The major new finding was that the salt loading was induced by the disposal of wastewater into wasteways or basins which leach salt from the underlying 88line geologic deposits. A recommended solution is to channel the waatewater around the saline deposits. which would reduce the leaching and salt loading. A 3.5-mile hypass pipeline in a ,-erificatiorl program is expected to he built in fiscal }'ear 1984. Crystal Geyser Unit. - This Utah unit would be im-oh-. ed in the e-oUecting and disposing of saline geyser dis- charges.
