The cost of additional land was determined by <br />the Bureau of Reclamation. Even though some tracts will have to <br />be purchased at full market value, many acres are involved in <br />flood easement purchase and some of the land requested in the <br />Riverside Public Use Area may be acquired through mitigation. <br />The status of the lanQ around Jackson Reservoir is not clear as <br />to ownership; however, much of the land will need to be acquired <br />by purchase, while other tracts may be secured through trade <br />during the Bureau's negotiations for Jackson Reservoir. <br /> <br />VIII. ESTDlATED RECREATION COST AND MONETARY BENEFITS <br /> <br />The total recreation development cost for facilities is estimated <br />at $535,000. This figure includes 20t% contingencies and 26!% <br />Bureau of Reclamation indirect cost. <br /> <br />The following initial recreation facilities are necessary for the <br />health, safety, and enjoyment of the visiting public. <br /> <br />12 <br />
