Both, however, cover <br />the project plan, an analysis of project effects on the fish and wild- <br />life resources, and contain estimates of costs and resulting benefits <br />of certain means and measures In the interest of fish and wildlife. <br />In addition, this memorandum report suggests how the costs might be <br />cost shared. <br /> <br />The Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife Issued an earlier report <br />entitled, "A Prel iminary Evaluation Report on Fish and Wildl ife Resources <br />In Relation to the Water Development Plan for the Narrows.Unit, South <br />Platte Division, Missouri River Basin Project, Colorado," dated Decem- <br />ber 13, 1951. On July 17, 1959, our Bureau also issued a report to <br />accompany the Bureau of Reclamation status report entitled, "Report <br />on the South Platte River Basin, Colorado-Wyoming-Nebraska." The <br />Narrows Unit was discussed briefly in the latter report. <br /> <br />Like the earlier reports, this report was prepared under the authority <br />and in accordance with the provIsions of the Fish and Wildlife Coordina- <br />tion Act (48 Stat. 401, as amended; 16 U.S.C, 661 et seq.). It is <br />designed to accompany your Bureau's feasibility report. The Colorado <br />Department of Game, Fish and Parks has cooperated in the field studies <br />and preparation of this report. Their concurrence in It is indicated <br />by the enclosed copy of a letter dated July 29, 1966, signed by Director <br />Harry R. Woodward. <br /> <br />. <br />
