Either of the above lines provides the
interconnection necessary for integrated operation of the Colorado-
Big Thompson system with that of the Public Service company.

:1

The substitution of lines changes the estimated cost of the
project on the Official Estimate, PF-l, as follows:

Account Number Item Cost
Delete:
13.106 Flatiron-Leyner No. 2
115 Kv line $277,000
13.64 LeynerSubstation 137,000
Total $414,000
Add:
- 13.136 Flatiron-Valmont line $408,000
13.137 Flatiron Metering Station 31,000
Total $439,000
,," ';
Increase in cost $ 25,000

The total cost of the project is $164,131,000 instead ,of the
$164,106,000 as used in the Definite plan Report. Inasmuch as the
increase in cost is relatively small compared to the total cost of
the project, it did not appear warranted to revise the payout
analysis nor to make all the necessary changes in the tables and
narrative to incorporate this change at this time. The actual
effect on payout is insignificant.

-'-.'.'- .'
,./ "
