Flow schedule requsted by Mexico, In surplus years as determined by the United States, Mexico .,
can schedule 1. 7 rather than 1.5 million acre-feet.
Total Cblorado River waters reaching Mexico. It is the sum of: 1) Cblorado River water rreasured
at the northerly international toundary, 2) drainage waters rreasured at the southerly interna-
tional toundary near San Luis, Arizona, and 3) Wellton-M::lhawk drainage waters measured at the
southerly international toundary. It is the sum of Cblumns (1) + (5).
(3). Arizona's Wellton-M::lhawk District drainage water. TIlls water is descharged to the Santa Clara
slough in Mexico via a concrete lined canal.
(4). Excess arrivals other than Well ton -M::lhawk drainage. It is the sum of: 1) a delivery of about
5,000 a.f, per year to ensure that Mexico receives what is scheduled, 2) releases fran Parker
Dam which are not used due to unexpected rainfall in the Palo Verde, Coachella, Irrperial, and
Yurra areas, 3) controlled floed releases on the Gila and Cblorado River, and 4) l=al runoff.
