This means that <br /> <br />if an acre of land sold for $1.00 in 1973, it would <br /> <br />sell for 1.62f in 1976. Likewise, the index fa.ctor <br /> <br />for irrlga.ted land {rom 1973,to 1976 is 1.595f, <br /> <br />meaning that the avera.ge price of irrigated land <br /> <br />with water rights increased fr.om !i\!\ index factor of <br /> <br />1.0 to an index factor of 1.595. <br /> <br />It must be remembered that this is an average increase <br /> <br />over the entire state of Colorado for the years 1974, <br /> <br />1975, and 1976.
