The start of construction of lines

to Farmington and Curecanti should also be initiated in the summer of

1960 to meet the date of initial operation.

Preferably in the same year, funds should be available to start

lines from Farmington to Albuquerque, Glen Canyon to Phoenix, Glen

Canyon to Provo, Vernal to Provo and from Provo to Ogden.

Construction of all other lines should be scheduled in subsequent

years in ample time to meet market requirements and the availability of

power from the project plants. Thus only can we avoid recurrence of the

critical timing now present due to the delays already experienced in the

construction of these features.

- 14 -
