The 14 categories <br />are: <br />I . Surface Area - Small Reservoirs <br />2. Irrigated Acres Using a Ground <br />Water Source <br />3. Other Uses of Ground Water - number <br />of sites (includes municipal, <br />industrial and energy) <br />4. Full Service Irrigation - Acres <br />5. Partial Service Irrigation - Acres <br />6. Waterspreader Irrigation - Acres <br />7. Forest Accretions - Acres of Clear-cut <br />8. Conservation Measures - Acres <br />(includes contour farming, terraces, <br />minimum tillage and range pitting) <br />9. Farm Ponds - Surface Acres <br />10. Livestock - Head (includes milk cows, <br />all other cattle and calves, all hogs <br />and pigs, all sheep and Iambs, <br />horses, ponies, and mules) <br />II. Municipal Population (all cities over <br />2500) <br />12. Industrial Sites (self-supplied water <br />source) <br />13. Energy Sites (includes mining, <br />processing and generation) <br />14. Rural Domestic Population (includes <br />towns below 2500) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />Historic Depletions <br />(DH) <br /> <br />An annual summary (1944-1978) in <br />acre-feet of depletions for the above 14 <br />ca tegor ies. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />1978 Level Depletions <br />(D78 = RH*~N) <br /> <br />An annual summary (1944-1978) of that <br />part of the net depletions calculated by <br />multiplying the historic unit depletion rate by <br />the difference in depletors between 1978 and <br />any year 1944-1978. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />Historic Unit <br />Depletion Ra te <br />(RH =~) <br /> <br />An annual summary (1944-1978) of historic <br />depletions divided by the number of <br />depletors.
