Enclosed is a report 'pi;p~;:'i<d for the Wyoming Water Development Commission <br />by'Bapner Associates, Inc.,. concerning the Little Snake River Water Management <br />Project. The project.audresses the municipal water needs along the North Platte <br />River system and agric~~~ural an~ municipal water needs in the Little Snake River <br />basin. - . <br /> <br />The study of North Platte municipal water needs is known as "Stage III". <br />Stage II, which was authorized by the Wyoming Legislature in 1980, is popularly <br />known as the Cheyenne Water Project. The study of agricultural, municipal and <br />industrial needs in the Little Snake River valley is more commonly known as <br />"in-basin needs". <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />In addition to the enclosed report, copies are available upon request at <br />the Commission's office of two reports: 1) Wyoming Water Development Commission, <br />Report to the Wyoming Legislature and Governor: Little Snake River Water <br />'Management Project; 2) Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Fish Division, Quan- <br />tification of Trout Habitat That Could Be Impacted by Stage III.of the Little <br />Snake River Water Management Project, by Don Miller. The latter report's <br />findings are incorporated in the enclosed report, but more detail is presented. <br /> <br />Public meetings will be held in late spring in areas that may be affected <br />by the project. The dates, times and locations of the meetings will be an- <br />nounced at a later date. <br /> <br />If you have any questions concerning the report or project, please contact <br />either Michael Reese or John Jackson at the above address or telephone number. <br /> <br />We greatly appreciate your interest and participation in reviewing the <br />feasibility study. <br />
