Southern California Edison Company. and California Electric Power Company at the Hoover firm rate plus 0.5 of a mill per kwhr for generation. The transition of the camp at Parker Dam from construction to operation has brought about the removal of houses of a temporary type and the construction of suilable permanent type houses, Dur, ing the current year len houses and two sets of duplex houses were removed, Additional houses were added under two contracts as follows: The Pritchett Construction Company built eight 5'1'0001 house, and five 6-1'0001 houses for a contract price of about $116,000. and E, W, Scott built five 5,room houses and five 6'1'0001 houses and 30 garages for a contracl price of about $113.000, The District's share of these costs was approximately one third of the total. The District has cooperated with the United States in building a school at Parker Dam, Funds were made available by the Dis, trict for its share of the school in an amount not to exceed $60,000. or 45 percent of the total cost. Present indications are that the school will cost about $116.000, and that the District's share of the cost will be about $51.000. The school is divided into two sections. with two classrooms in each section.
