<br />October, Secretary of Interior Wilbur announced requests
<br />for power from Boulder Canyon project insured that all
<br />power would be taken, thus assuring repayment of cost as
<br />required by law.
<br />November 14, First report on Colorado River water supply
<br />project submitted to Board of Directors by Chief Engineer

<br />April. District contracted with the United States for
<br />storage and delivery of water. and for 36 per cent of the
<br />power generated at Hoover Dam.
<br />May. District took over all ellgineering alld other work
<br />alld records from the Bureau of Water Works and Supply of
<br />the City of Los Angeles, and contracted to pay in full all
<br />preliminary expense incurred by the city for the Colorado
<br />River aqueduct,
<br />October. Arizona filed bill of complaint with United States
<br />Supreme Court charging that construction of Boulder Can,
<br />yon project was invasion of its rights.
