The sum of $47,000,000 was authorized to be appropriated <br />for construction of these projects. <br /> <br />The total new authorizations for the State of Colorado dur- <br />ing the past four years has now reached the sum of $217,000,000, an <br />all time high for any four-year period of Colorado's history. <br /> <br />The total cost of reclamation projects authorized for con- <br />struction in Colorado during the past eight years is $397,000,000. <br />This amount greatly exceeds the total past accumulative authoriza- <br />tions in Colorado since the reclamation program was begun in 1902. <br /> <br />The status of the projects authorized during the last eight <br />years is as follows: <br /> <br />Completed <br />Under Construction <br />In Preconstruction Phase <br /> <br />$ 23,500,000 <br />305,000,000 <br />68,500,000 <br /> <br />Total <br /> <br />$397,000,000 <br /> <br />The estimated cost of projects now ready for authorization <br />is $102,000,000 and those in the economic feasibility study phase <br />total $560,000,000. The estimated cost of projects in the reconnais- <br />sance stage is $62,000,000. <br /> <br />The grand total of the active Colorado reclamation program <br />initiated during the past eight years is $1,120,000,000. <br /> <br />3. Next Board Meetinq. <br /> <br />The next meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />will be held at Fort Morgan, Colorado, commencing at 9:00 A. M. <br />September 12, 1964, in the auditorium of the Morgan County REA <br />Building. At that meeting it is anticipated that the Board will make <br />a site selection of the reservoir for the Narrows Project. On the day <br />prior to the meeting, the Board will tour the Weld County and Narrows <br />Reservoir sites. <br /> <br />FELIX L.
