Dolores Proiect <br />f'\) <br />~ <br /> <br />A Fea~ibility Report was prepared in 1963. and the project <br /> <br />authorized by Public Law 90-537 on September 30, 1968. A <br /> <br /> <br />Definite ~lan Report was completed in April, 1977. with <br /> <br />modificati~ns to the original plan to meet Indian <br /> <br />requirements. McPhee Dam was completed in March/ 1984/ and was <br />completely! filled for the first time during the spring runoff <br />of 1987. Supplemental Irrigation Water and M&I water became <br />available ~n 1987. Total depletions are estimated to average <br />80.900 acre-feet annually with the first deliveries el~~;;-t;dnttn <br />1987. The: Denver EIS modelled depletions at 106,000 acre-feet, <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Averag~ annual consumptive uses will be 70,250 acre-feet <br />for irriga~ion, 4.350 acre-feet for municipal and industrial <br />use, and 6~300 acre-feet for evaporation, The Bureau of <br />Reclamatiop estimates that evaporation and the bulk of the <br />irrigation: uses will be depleting the Colorado River System by <br />36.000 acr~-feet in 1990 and that by 2000 the project will be <br />fully oper~tional. <br /> <br />o. Fruitl~nd Mesa Project <br /> <br />The project was authorized as a participating project of <br /> <br />the Colorado River Storage Project by Public Law 88-568 on <br /> <br /> <br />September .. 1964.
