Thus, Kansas made no actual demands and there was no <br />"credit against demand" determination made. <br />Forced releases by Corps of Engineers calculated separately. <br />.. 5197.44 aJ. forced release. "credit against demand"calculated on the <br />balance of 11,975.38 aJ. <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Kansas had 160,608.25 aJ. forced from its account in compact year 1987 <br />due to flood control operations at John Martin. As a result, Kansas demand <br />for compact year 1987 totalled only 36.169.91 aJ. with a Transit Loss <br />Account release of2,905.13 aJ. for a (Ota! release of 39,075.04 aJ. The total <br />stateline flow on days of forced relesases from the Kansas account and actual <br />days of Kansas demands, including the appropriate run down period follow- <br />ing each demand release, was 379.369.37 aJ. of which 37,978.39 aJ. was <br />credited against the demand of Kansas. <br /> <br />The operation of the Transit Loss Account in compact year 1987 was as <br />follows: <br /> <br />17 <br />
