<br />-49- <br /> <br />(j) The Commission shall keep a record of wa- <br />ters belonging to each country and of those that <br />may be available at a given moment, taking into <br />account the measurement of the allotments, the <br />regulation of the waters in storage, the consump- <br />tive uses, the withdrawals, the diversions, and the <br />losses. For this purpose the Couunission shall con- <br />struct, operate and maintain on the main channel <br />of the Rio Grande (Rio Bravo), and each Section <br />shall construct, operate and maintain on the meas- <br />ured tributaries in its own country, all the gaging <br />stations and mechanical apparatus necessary for <br />the purpose of making computations and of obtain- <br />ing the necessary data for such record. The informa- <br />tion with respect to the diversions and consumptive <br />uses on the unmeasured tributaries shall be fur- <br />nished to the Commission by the appropriate Sec- <br />tion. The cost of construction of any new gaging <br />stations located on the main channel of the Rio <br />Grande (Rio Bravo) shall be borne equally by the <br />two Governments. The operation and maintenance <br />of all gaging stations or the cost of such operation <br />and maintenance shall be apportioned between the <br />two Sections in accordance with determinations to <br />be made by the Commission. <br /> <br />III-COLORADO RIVER <br /> <br />ARTICLE 10 <br /> <br />Of the waters of the Colorado River, from any <br />and all sources, there are allotted to Mexico: <br /> <br />(a) A guaranteed annual quantity of 1,500,000 <br />acre-feet (1,850,234,000 cubic meters) to be deliv- <br />ered in accordance with the provisions of Article <br />15 of this Treaty. <br />
