Below, I outline the comments and the subsequent changes to the document. I <br />should note that I did not address the issue of sampling methodologies for the fish communities, <br />since that work is being done primarily by your and T. Modde's groups. <br /> <br />Comments by Burton: <br /> <br />I. 1 have made as many editorial changes as possible to address those cornn1ents and to make the <br />document more readable. <br /> <br />2. I have clarified objective 3. <br /> <br />3. 1 have made substantial changes to the hypotheses section. <br /> <br />4. I have made corrections and additions to the site selection sections. <br /> <br />Comments by Hesse: <br /> <br />I. Editorial changes were made to address his initial comments. <br /> <br />2. I have rewritten the goal and objectives sections to reflect his suggestions. <br /> <br />COLLEGE OF NATURAL RESOURCES <br /> <br /> <br />3. The hypotheses section has been rewritten. <br />
