HazardoUS Waste . . . <br />(',', <br />o <br /> <br />Guiding <br />PrinCiple <br /> <br />Goal <br /> <br />Strategies <br /> <br />L <br /> <br />The Nation must maintain an aggressive program to manage and <br />clean up hazardous and toxic wastes to protect the health of the <br />public, the environment, and water resources. <br /> <br />To ensure that Reclamation's lands are free of hazardous and toxic <br />wastes and to assist other Federal and State agencies in the <br />protection and restoration of the Nation's surface water and <br />groundwater resources from hazardous waste contamination. <br /> <br />. Establish and maintain effective program management and <br />administration of Reclamation's hazardous and toxic waste <br />cleanup activities. <br /> <br />. Provide, on a reimbursable basis, technical assistance and <br />engineering services to other Federal and non-Federal entities in <br />the cleanup of hazardous and toxic wastes to protect surface <br />water and groundwater. <br /> <br />.
