<br />"'I' . ..-~;.,. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Two articles describing results of work in the Arkansas Valley <br />were published in the Water Resources Research in the Fourth Quarter <br />1966. The articles are, "An Evaluation of the Effect of Groundwater <br />Pumpage on the Infiltration Rate of a Semipervious Streambed," by <br />J. E. Moore and C. T. Jenkins, and "A New Approach for Estimating <br />Transmissibility from Specific Capacity," by R. Theodore Hurr. Re- <br />prints of the articles are available from the Survey offices in <br />Villa Italia. <br /> <br />An article entitled, "Data Requirements and Preliminary Results <br />of an Analog Model Evaluation - Arkansas River Valley in Eastern <br />Colorado," by J. E. Moore and L. A. Wood was published in the January <br />1967 issue of Ground Water. Reprints will shortly be available from <br />the Survey offices in Vil1a Italia. <br /> <br />The report, "Ground-water Development in the High Plains of <br />Colorado," by A. J. Boettcher has been published as Water-Supply Paper <br />1819-1. It is available from the Survey's Public Inquiries Office, <br />Room 15246 Federal Office Building, Denver.
