Colorado. on December 2. 1970. regarding <br />the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Monument. <br /> <br />We note from your brochure that an area along Black Canyon is being <br />proposed for inclusion in the National Wilderness System. We have not <br />made a mineral survey of the proposed wilderness area and have no <br />comments to make on the mineral potential of the area. The geology of <br />the area is. however, described in U.S. Geological Survey Bulletin 1191, <br />"The Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Today and Yesterday," by W. R.
