Their study <br />included analyses where three hyputhetical ditehes had different <br />priority dates. Pumps were used to satisfy both junior and senior <br />appropriators and some examples and discussion is prpsented to <br />show that maximum use of till' water resource l'esuHs from <br />conjunctive use of both the surface and ground water. * Eshett, <br />Ali and M. Stream-Aquifer System Analysis - <br />Journal of Hydraulics Division, Proceedings of the American <br />Society of Civil Engineers, Vol. 91, No, HY6, November, 1965. <br /> <br />Development of Digital Computer Program to Solve Mathematical <br />Equations Representing Stream-Aquifer System - In 1964 CSU began <br />to develop a generalized digital computer program that could bt' used <br />to solve a series of mathematical equations which would simulate <br />a stream aquifer system. Such a program has been developed and <br />is now being applied to the La Junta to Las Animas reach. Verifi- <br />cation of the model and ref inements and generalization of the <br />program are now being completed. Analyses to date indicate that <br />this approach could be easily adopted to other areas. Funds for <br />this study have come from the CSU Experi ment Station budget. <br />
