The mission of the Forum is to provide a <br /> <br />Basin-wide coordinated approach to controlling salinity of the River at <br /> <br />acceptable levels. M"mbers of the Forum are from the \,g ter quality <br /> <br />agencies and the wate;: resources agencies of the State Governments. A <br /> <br />list of the members i:: attached. <br /> <br />The Forum has prl!sented statements in the past to the Congress in <br /> <br />support o[ funding [or the Colorado River Basin salinity control program <br /> <br />carried out under Title II of Public Law 93-320, the Colorado laver <br /> <br />Basin Salinity Control Act. While most o[ the activities in the program <br /> <br />are under the leadership o[ the Secretary of the Interior, there arc a <br /> <br />number of very important activities carried out under the direction of <br /> <br />the Secretary of Agriculture. <br /> <br />* <br />Mr. Barnett is the Executive Director, Colorado River Ilasin Salinity <br />Control Forum <br />
